Rural Residential Subdivision & Development

Project Overview

We are the lead consultants responsible for overseeing the consenting and development of a large scale rural subdivision in Beachlands, Auckland.

When we were originally presented with this proposal we guided the developer towards the idea of creating a countryside living development that will offer exemplary rural lifestyle living in one of Auckland’s most picturesque areas.

At the very beginning of the project we floated the idea of creating a development that would be on par with the Millbrook and Jacks Point developments in Queenstown. A development that would offer exceptional living in architectural homes that are set amongst some of the most stunning natural and man-made landscape features in the Auckland region.

To realise this we encouraged the use of strong architectural design principles to guide the development and to ensure each home would be built in a sympathetic nature and respect the stunning natural outlook of the site.

To achieve all this, the project required significant management of various specialists and sub-consultants, reconciliation of complex ecological and rural landscape issues and careful navigation through council. Consents have now been lodged for this exciting development and construction is expected to commence late 2016.
