The TDC team have been involved in the project management, design and consenting of this six-terrace development in Papakura. The development has been carefully managed and designed to the client’s budget to achieve a 6-week resource consent and development that achieves strong design outcomes and ensures the developers are rewarded for their investment.
This is an exciting project for the Papakura area, with construction expected to start in 2023.
The Park Estate Terraces, nestled behind existing neighbouring single-story street-facing dwellings, peak over the top and add depth and silhouette to the suburban environment Entering the proposed site from the right of way. you first are welcomed by the warm vertical timber shiplap and white seamed steel sheet cladding facade of units 3-6 secondly noticing units 1&2’s interesting angled vertical faces to the entrance and living areas creating architectural interest. The two blocks softened into the environment with landscaping and the use of natural and neutrally coloured materials. The terrace development intends to produce a suburban residential offering, that delivers high-quality living amenities, whilst being respectful of its surroundings and larger context. Furthermore, the development also addresses questions of constructability and material efficiencies, ensuring a socially, environmentally, and economically successful development.
